letter from Ministry

I'M SO CASHLESS N JOBLESS!!!! UGHHH!!!!


received a letter and an email from the ministries- Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education. the former said i got shortlisted and asked me down for interview, and the latter said i have to wait to be shortlisted cos there are toooooo many other applicants competing for this position (Management Support Officer and Corporate Support Officer). great.

this is the email from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

APPLICATION FOR A CAREER IN THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Thank you for your interest in our Ministry and congratulations for being shortlisted for the selection process for the post of Management Support Officer. Our selection process consists of 2 stages. Stage 1 of the selection process consists of the following assessments:-

(a) Writing Skills Test
(b) Logistical Skills Test
(c) Situational Judgement Test
(d) Personality Test

You have been scheduled to attend the tests on 20th March 2008 (Thursday). The details are as follows:-

Venue : Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Press Room (Main Lobby, Ground Floor)
Tanglin Singapore 248163

Start Time : 12.45 pm (please be punctual)
End Time : 5.30 pm (estimated)

MY GOODNESS LA!! interview's time is sooooo long!! and there are alr 4 tests awaiting for u for this 1st interview, just the 1st interview only. god knows how much stress there is for the 2nd interview! ni went to the interview alr, and from wad she described, i made up my mind not to go for this interview. forget it...


next the letter from Ministry of Education:

Your application is currently receiving our attention and will be considered in competition with other applicants for the same position. As the ministry receives a large number of applications, we regret that only short-listed applicants will be notified to attend an interview.
well. simply put it this way, in other words, wait long long lor.

fine then. it's not like i will die without the ricebowl from the Ministry. right now i'm waiting for the call from MediaCorp =D oohhh.. how i wish to work in the media industry!!
