RESULTS!

sem 2 results finally released!!

but i was a little disappointed tho. looks like i overestimated myself.


was hoping to get a gpa of at least 3.2 and above.. but well, i jus got an increase of 0.1. GREAT.

how can i make it to uni like this?!?!

received my result slip from jap cultural society. hmmm at least i passed =)
now i'm wondering whether to move on to jap language next level or take lessons to improve my english.. or both??

the night before met up with al n ni and we went to discuss about job interview, and al advises us on various issues about it. one thing i'm sooo delighted about was tt his mention of a job of assistant journalist to me. ASSISTANT JOURNALIST!!! man. i love tt job. if onli i'm graduated from the diploma of mass com, so that the chances of his fren employing me wld be high! i got d7 for my eng oso, tt means my chances is very slim. sigh... maybe i can be a chinese journalist instead??? keke.. but i think they wld prefer uni candidates.... SIGH~ this is my FIRST time tt i'm soooo keen and interested in a job. what can i do to make it come true??? and how long can this interest last???

Singapore Airshow 2008

woke up early in sat morning and was late to meeting the ann, jianai, lis for breakfast! sorry sorry hee.. didnt slept well the day before cos watched Noroi the Curse at ann's hse. Scary movie lar!!!! i think the scariest horror movie i watched so far. EEEK

after having our breakfast took a bus down to orchard to take the shuttle bus to the air show at meritus mandarain hotel. so ex la the 2 way tix.. costs us $10 + the airshow tix which's $20. so total of 30 bucks spent!

dunno y the bus stopped suddenly in the middle of the lane.. the driver then asked us to alight and walk there instead of waiting in the bus impatiently. well, we decided to got off the bus and walked down! after we rched we still had to queue.. then ann started taking pics of these 2 kids peeing.. LOl

i think this stunt was amazing! 2 planes flying towards each other and crossed by such small distance!!! COOL MAN!

ok. this is my fav part. THE HEART SHAPE!!!! so pretty cannn!!!!!! u can see the planes drawing the heart shape at it's bottom. den the 3rd plane fly past to draw a arrow across the heart!!! awwwwww.....

anw it was sooooo hot and stuffy tt day! i felt so smelly and sticky.. oh and not to mention, i feel hot when i went to take a pic with e pilot over here! woo! hehe..

at the end of the day i felt light headed and smelly.. my goodness. think it's due to the heat and the hunger! and we still had to queue for our shuttle bus. waited damn long for the bus la, plus ppl cutting queues and all tt. frustrated.

if there's an airshow again the next time.. i wondered i will go again bcos it's realli far and inconvenient! despite of the aerospace flying display was fantastic!!!

jus a few days before cny we (angelis, jiana, bee and i) went to shop ard in bugis!! oh not to mention about the pedicure too.

when we did the pedi-manicure it's ard 10+.. and the china lady who's serving us was so fierce lol. she henpecked and rushed us such that we finish our pedicure within a short time. jiana even got reprimanded because she dunno which colour to choose haha. when the pedicure's done, the china lady found out tt jiana's wearing her covered shoes and tt she quickly thrust her a styrofoam pre-manifactured YELLOW slippers to her and force her to wear tt home, so that the nail polish cld dry up and settle haha.

IMAGINE SHE HAD TO WEAR THIS HOME! we're at bugis.. mind u. muahahahahaha. and she was rather reluctant to wear it. we did the same pedicure but diff colour.. since it was late and with the china lady nagging at our ears, we decided to make the same one to avoid any trouble

had dinner at Ministry of Food located inside bugis 2nd floor. it's a japanese restaurant, and the food is rather scrumptious!! the price is reasonable too, and next wk we shall be having bee's bdae dinner party there. WOOTS! give it a try if u have not dine there before, and for vegetarians, no worries cos they have veggie dishes for u too!

pss. if u think the food is so-so den it's none of my business. it's according to own preference.

went to geylang for dinner. wadz the shop's name?? ..er WEN DAO SHI (i smell shit?) dim sum shop. hahas. according to bee a century old dim sum restaurant. and no wonder the dim sum's so delicious!! YUM. i love the fried fish salad and the barley drink and the chee chung fan and the chicken wings etc etc.. wa i now ve hungry. i wanna eat again next time!! but rather inconvenient la hais. after which went to bee's hse for gambling, lose quite a bit and den rch home ard 3+.

next next visitng houses to mine, jiana's and ann's. den steamboat at ann's hse! pics grabbed from michelle. had lotsa fun!!!

bakings! woots

i'm soooooo tired and busy!!! and now tt i've graduated, i seem to lost track of time!!! i cld hardly rmb wad i've been doing these past few days too, all i know tt it's been busy after the chi new yr started.


anw, did lotsa bakings la.

new yr eve helped me mama do dumplings. it's not my 1st time making it, but it's been a looooong time since the last time i did it, so that i did it disastrous this time.. hehe. mummy tried to teach me the correct way of wrapping the fill properly, but i cld only do it successfully after i practised on a few dumplings... alright, more than a few dumplings, which is to say, the near-to-correct dumplings i made r the fews left after i made sooooo many defective ones. HAHA. right.

and the thing is, my pa found my dumplings inedible.. omg. cos the skin is too thick. oh well, at least i learnt my mistake.. i cld improve the next time i do it. try it.... anyone???

and then i baked butter cookies wit ting at her hse.. my baking khaki haha. 1st time starting frm scrach without anyone's help!

it's adorable.. dont ya think so??? it's rather delicious too, but a bit dry tho; u can have it alongside with coffee/tea. can try improving it again. easy to make, if i had the time i wld do it again and give to my frens! oh ya, not to mention baking other snacks again with ting! so convenient la haha.. since we live soooo near to each other. ;)

next, i tried meringues with ni at my hse. in detail, it's called the Mini Chocolate Cornflake Parlova Meringues. such a long name la. basically this snack doesnt require any flour, except a lil of the cornflour la. when i see the recipe, i tut it'd be easy to bake. and so we were baking happily in the 1st place, in between the process there were doubts and questions arised, and the outcome, well, we failed. LOL. turned out tt u actually need some experience doing this snack.. cos we didnt beat the mixture well enough and AND, tooooo much sugar, toooooo sweet!!! and the outcome of our snacks turns out to be so different frm how it's spposed to look like lo!! (shall post the pics next time when i get e pics, u'll see e big diff) awww anw, ni and i agreed to do it all over again the next time, and most importantly, it must be successful!!!!

yr!!!!


1st day of lunar new yr and i've got something to say alr.
at the eve of lunar new yr went to my grandma's hse for steamboat gathering, and as expected i'm interrogated about sch.. graduation.. and the things i'm gonna do after graduation. SO ANNOYING. esp asked by my auntie. dunno y she always picked on me!!!! last yr she enquired about my attire to my mother, i overheard it. this yr she chose to scorn and show her scepticism about my qualifications to university and the course i hope to choose in front of so many relatives. FUCKING BITCH SHE IS.

she oso kept telling me to go uni, kept saying uni good, uni good. and i said i might want to work also, and she gave me those ridiculous look, then went back to telling me to study at uni again. wad the f she is to instruct me what to do?!?! this is MY life, i can choose whatever i wanted to do and it's none of her business! y muz i get influenced so as to go her way??! even if she's my elder, she must also respect me, whichever route i chosen!!!!!! an ill-mannered adult i must say, and the most loathsome kind too!

because the course i chose is Communication n Information, in which ur english has to be very good. so she was asking me, "English leh!!! ur english can ma????! can ma??!?!!"
........................ i was thinking of how to shoot back to her without being impolite when my father, who was sitting beside me, helped me by telling her tt no matter how poor my english is, mine is still better than his, which, indirectly saying, better than her's. and then unbelievably, she turned it around by saying tt everyone's english is better than his. this whore actually humiliated
my father n i in front of the
family. and my father actually laughed it away by saying tt at least my grandma's english is still poorer than his. i'm refraining frm scolding anymore vulgarities anymore here since it is only 1st day of lunar new yr, and forgive me for writing em down at the 1st place cos i'm too infuriated.

i've complained this to my parents and they told me to take it easily.. they said jus take it as a motivation to proof to her tt i can do it, and tt one day she'll have her retribution! well, i hoped so then!!! when the day comes..................................... we shall see.

FINALLY LAST PAPER!!

after the exams went to sakura at orchard and had a buffet there. our last class gathering, with our personal tutors around (wad the hell) luckily my seat is 2 seats away frm em, otherwise u think i have e time to entertain em??!? i havent even grab enough food when the staff there told us tt the lunch time buffet is up. celebrated pw's bdae too, sort of awkward when the bdae song is played.. a realli ORH PIANG bdae song lol. when we presented the bdae cake pw's face looked sort of blank.. nv expected.... rite?? c we so gd, helped u celebrate ur last bdae with the class.

had a phtograph taking session again, but tis time wit my class. do not have e photos wit me.. so will update again once i got the photos. do visit my blog again to capture the moments of affection!!!! wooo~

after which went to meet up with guys frm 02 to catch the movie RAMBO. initial plan was to watch Sweeney Todd, but i decided to let the guys have their way if not i'm sure they'll complain after watching Sweeney Todd. gory, but overall it's nice. at least e bad guy's dead with his intestines slashed. realli hate those kind of shows where the bad guy got away while the good ones dead/loses. waste my money watching these shows.

loitered ard after the movie at ps and head to minds' cafe. to those whom have not yet visited minds cafe u SHOULD go!!!! FUN!

anw dinner settled at banquet but the girls not eating. still full frm the buffet haha. den went to eat tau huay and we exchanged gossips!! juicy gossip we heard frm them heh heh.... explosive and stunning. ours are nothing compared to their's.

organised a chi new yr gathering at angelis's hse and they agreed. weeeeee! shall discuss again about it. c ur ard on sunday!!
